Hope y’all are having a great start to your holiday week! We are celebrating
Thanksgiving with both sides of our family and could not be more excited for the
I jumped on the blog today to tell you about my experience with Native, a clean
deodorant brand I’ve been trying out lately. As many of you all know, I was recently
challenged by my good friend @sweetteawithmadi to take the Native deodorant
challenge where I use Native’s exclusively for two weeks, and I have been itching to
share my experience with you all! If you haven’t heard of Native deodorant before it is a
paraben and aluminum free deodorant made with clean ingredients such as coconut oil
and Shea butter! I.e. SO much better for you than deodorants you find at your local drug
I’m officially sold on Native, y’all! It’s the best clean deodorant I’ve found, and I’ve been
so impressed with my results now that I’m on day 14 of the challenge. I have to be
honest, day 1-7 was a little rough because there is a short detox process in switching
from your antiperspirant to Native, but in the end it’s so worth it to be using a product
that’s so much healthier for your body.
In the beginning, it felt like I was sweating a little more and had a light smell after
workouts, but again both side effects started to lessen after day 7 of the challenge. The
detox process is normal and expected when going through the challenge. I’ve also
found the scents of Native are much more feminine and spa-like (I LOVE cucumber +
mint) as compared to the scents of my old antiperspirant. They also go on smoother and
don’t leave residue thanks to the coconut oil in the product.
I truly didn’t believe the hype which is why I wanted to take the challenge, and I’m so
glad I did! If you’ve tried an aluminum-free deodorant in the past, and haven’t been sure
about it, I recommend you try Native instead. It’s definitely the best brand experience
I’ve had so far with a clean deodorant. If you’d like to take the challenge with me (and I
highly suggest you do), you can use my promo code ‘Bailey20’ to get 20% off all Native products on their website at checkout. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the Native
